Message	I'm saying that I simply don't think you could put that much lateral force into the wheel rim - the tyre would flex so much that it would pop off the rim lip before you got that far.. Surely you agree that the tyre will flex long before the wheel does? Having said that - I'm not sure I'd run with just 1mm clearance either, but I'm still not convinced the wheel itself will be flexing, but rather just the tyre sidewall. Az
